What is a documentation maturity score?
The documentation maturity score is a 0-to-100 indicator evaluating the overall quality of your knowledge base across five dimensions: coverage (do you have the essential doc types?), depth (are they sufficiently detailed?), freshness (are they up to date?), consistency (do they follow a standard format?), and AI-readiness (are they structured to feed an LLM?). A score of 80+ indicates documentation ready for RAG production.
How quickly is the audit available?
The initial analysis is available in under 5 minutes for the vast majority of sites. The AI crawler analyzes your public pages, classifies your existing documentation, and generates your score and roadmap in real time. For very large sites (>10,000 pages), analysis may take up to 15 minutes. You are notified by email as soon as results are ready.
Does Knowledge Pulse analyze my internal data?
The initial audit covers only your website's public pages. No internal data is accessed without your explicit authorization. If you want a complete analysis including your internal documentation (Notion, Confluence, Google Drive, SharePoint), you can connect those sources from settings — each connection requires OAuth authentication from you.
Can Knowledge Pulse be used without Ragnight?
Knowledge Pulse is a feature integrated into the Ragnight platform — it is not available as a standalone product. However, you can use it solely for auditing and recommendations without deploying a vector knowledge base. Maximum value is reached when generated templates are published directly into a Ragnight KB, as they immediately become queryable via the API.
How are recommendations generated?
Recommendations are produced by an AI model that cross-references three sources: (1) your site analysis to identify your specific gaps, (2) your industry to prioritize the document types most expected by your users, and (3) anonymized benchmarks from over 1,000 similar knowledge bases. Each suggestion is ranked P1 (high impact, low effort), P2 (medium impact), or P3 (long-term enrichment).
